Possible Free Dining Offer for Fall.

Finally, there’s a credible rumor going around about free dining for fall. Remember, it’s just a RUMOR, but here are the details:

Bookings between August 3, 2011 – December 17, 2011.

Travel Dates:

  • October 2, 2011 – October 8, 2011
  • October 23, 2011 – November 5, 2011
  • November 13, 2011 – November 19, 2011
  • November 27, 2011 – December 3, 2011
  • December 11, 2011 – December 17,

Free quick service dining for values and regular dining for moderates deluxe and villas.

Minimum Stay: 3 Nights – Maximum stay: 14 nights.

I’ve seen this rumor in a number of places and it does look promising but remember, there’s no verification from Disney yet.  I’ll be watching this all weekend and will post updates as they come out.

Don’t forget, you can have an existing reservation and have this offer applied to it without penalty at this point.

I just want to take this moment to remind all of you that in addition to any discounts available, I always do Disney gift cards with my bookings. Email me at ChrisW@PixieVacations.com or call 919-889-5281 for details.

Good luck!

  1. We’re going in January 2012…when might those deals be announced if there are any???

  2. Anon, last year they came out in mid-August. Just watch here. I usually try to get these offers out a few days before they’re announced.

  3. We have annual passes and are booked at POFQ during one of the listed times. Would we be eligible for free dining if it comes to pass? I’ve been told that to get dining you have to buy at least a day pass.

  4. YES! Crossing my fingers for this one! If this happens, when will it be announced, and when do the phone lines open up? I want to be at the ready!

  5. You shouldn’t announce them early Chris. It causes problems! Shame on you!!

  6. Wow! Great info but how do you know this is for real?

  7. I hope, hope, hope!! I will totally adjust our dates if need be to get this! Thanks, Chris! :)

  8. Anon #4: That’s why it says it’s a rumor! *hugs*

Anon #3: You’ll have to buy a one or two day pass, depending on the requirements. You can keep that ticket forever and use it to upgrade to your next AP or to a multi-day ticket. Hope that helps.

Sarah, the rumor is Wednesday and if that’s the case, then it will be at 7:00 eastern when the phone lines open up.

Anon #5: That’s why it says it’s a rumor. I don’t know. I’m just as worried as the next person.

    Sheena, me too!

Guys, thanks for your comments. Again, it’s a rumor. Rumor rumor rumor. But it’s the first good one I’ve heard. Who knows? I’ll keep you posted.

We will be in Disney October 14-21. Do you anticipate any room or other discounts for this time? Also if we extended our trip through the 23rd would we be eligible for free dining? I know if the dining plan starts your vacation you can use it the whole trip. Does it work the same way if it the last day of your trip?

  10. Jeanie, if these dates are right, yes, your dates will work. I would imagine there will be some room discounts if past discounts are any indication.

Remember though, this is just a good rumor. The owner of Dreams Unlimited has come out and said he thinks it will happen, but only Disney knows for sure.

  11. Anything new on this rumor. August 3rd is fast approaching. Usually, the free dining is offered to Disney Visa cardholders first. That has not happened yet.

  12. Is it worth getting up at 4:00 a.m. Pacific time tomorrow to check or is this likely to be a waste of time? This will make the difference between staying on site or off for us.

  13. I’m hearing good things over at the DIS discussion boards:

Anyone have luck with FD in a Treehouse Villa in the past?
